One way ticket to Yangshuo

Hi folks,
we made it safe to Yangshuo, a little town at the river Li not far from Guilin city.
The flight from Brussels to Beijing took about 10 hours, but we were seated at the emergency exit, which has at lot more space compared to the other seats. The plane, an A330, was well equiped with a video screen for each person and a wide offer in movies (all kinds of) and some games and music channels. It helps killing time ;)
In Beijing airport we had to wait 9 hours for our next flight to Guangzhou... there is no real place to sleep so the waiting was long and boring. An A330 took us to Guangzhou, better known under it's english name as: Canton, famous for its dishes. We had booked a nice little hotel (15€/night) near the river Pearl for 2 night to recover from the long trip and to visit Guangzhou of course. Its a very busy city but similar to cities like Paris and Budapest where a big river runs through it. At night it's beautiful with lot's of colored lights and animation at the riverside. The second day we went to a Park/Mountain just outside the city center to find a quiet and peaceful nature with an impressive view over the Guangzhou skyline with it's many skyscrapers. That evening we took a nightbus to Yangshuo, good for 8 hours on the freaky chinese roads.
Yangshuo, in the middle of the night, welcomed us with it's magnificent scenery. We found a small hotel for 2 nights, the time we needed to find a place to settle down. With the help of some local friends, we found a decent appartment where we'll stay for 3 months to start with...
